Reaching Communities 

Tassibee has been successful in obtaining funding from the Big Lottery Fund in order to develop the services we provide to people over the age of 50 living in Rotherham.

The Tassibee Advocacy Community Services was official launch at our EID Festival on 11th July this year. We have started supporting individuals via our drop in, advocacy sessions and Tassibee Wellbeing Programme.

Age Rotherham UK
Age UK Rotherham is an independent charity whose charitable objectives are to make the lives of older people in Rotherham as fulfilling and rewarding as possible.

Apna Haq
Apna Haq provides confidential, one to one support for Asian women and their children who are experiencing violence in the home.

They are involved in inter-agency case working allowing them to help Asian women via social services, the police and other agencies as well as being sought out by these agencies to help Asian women in distress.

Rotherham Childrens Centre
Rotherham Childrens Centre offer a friendly place for you and your child to meet new friends and come along to activities. They can also offer extra help, like support with pregnancy and parenting young children, and helping you look for work or training.

Rotherham College
Rotherham College provide education and training for individuals and businesses throughout South Yorkshire.

Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council
Rotherham victims and survivors of sexual exploitation can contact a confidential helpline and email, 24/7. The service is free from a landline and provided by NSPCC. Also supporting the Standing Together Website

Rotherham Abuse Counselling Service
Rothacs provide free specialist counselling for women, men and young people who have experiences rape, sexual or domestic abuse at anytime in their lives, including Sexual Exploitation (CSE)

Rotherham RISE
Now called Rotherham Rise, Rotherham Women’s Refuge (RWR) was established in 1976 as a local charity. They provide a range of support services for adults and children who have been affected by domestic violence and abuse.

Sheffield College
Sheffield College provide education and training for individuals and businesses throughout South Yorkshire.

United Multi-Cultural Centre
The United Multi-Cultural Centre is a registered charity that has been in service now for twenty eight years. Our aim and objective is to integrate the community regardless of colour, creed or nationality. The primary goal for the UMCC is to deliver training and build on peoples skills and building their confidence enabling them to integrate into society.

Unity Centre
The Unity Centre is a community development for conference, training and social events. The facility is located within the Eastwood district of Rotherham, an area rich in cultural diversity, the centre is fully accessible and purpose built to respond to cultural, social, educational and spiritual needs of the community. They run a Asian Ladies Elder Group on Wednesdays.

Voluntary Action Rotherham
Voluntary Action Rotherham is the lead body for supporting, developing and promoting the voluntary and community sector in the Rotherham borough. Its core activities and associated projects are a keystone for local community engagement and development.

RotherFed

A charity with support communities to grow and develop by bringin communities together to create local solutions to local issues.

Rotherham United Community Trust

Rotherham United Community Trust (RUCT) is the charitable arm of Rotherham United Football Club. Working with partners to bring communities from a diverse range of external organisations within Rotherham together Their mission to continue to make Rotherham a thriving community with a sense of pride for everyone through; Health and Wellbeing, Education and Employability, Youth and Inclusion and Sports Participation.
